Ink Raiders Guide

Splatoon Raiders guides, written by someone actually playing it

No wiki-speak, no padding. Just the weapon picks, tank builds, boss patterns and farming routes that matter most in the first ten hours of the Spirhalite Islands.

Updated for launch week (July 2026) · Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive · Single-player + 2–4 player co-op

Welcome. This is a small, fast site with one job: get you unstuck in Splatoon Raiders without making you scroll past three paragraphs of "what is Splatoon Raiders" first. If you already own the game, you know what it is — a single-player-focused, loot-driven raid game where you play a mechanic, team up with Deep Cut (Shiver, Frye and Big Man) in an Exploration Bot, and splat your way through Salmonid-infested islands for gear and treasure.

Below are the five things people actually get stuck on. Each page is a proper deep-dive, not a stub.

If you just started, four things will save you a lot of pain:

Why trust this site over a wiki?A wiki lists every stat. That's useful, but it won't tell you which weapon actually feels good three islands deep, or which boss attack looks scary but is a free punish. That's what these pages are for — concise, playtested recommendations, updated as the community learns more.

Frequently asked questions

Is Splatoon Raiders single-player or multiplayer?

It's single-player-focused, but almost every raid can also be played in 2–4 player co-op. Co-op isn't unlocked at the very start — you get it a little way into the game, along with a "Call for Help" feature. See the co-op tips page.

How long is Splatoon Raiders?

The main campaign runs roughly 15–18 hours depending on how much you explore, with a lot more on top if you chase Sampler Dungeons, collectibles and gear completion.

Does difficulty change the loot I get?

No. Nintendo confirmed the loot pool is identical across Tourist, Raider and Survivalist. Higher difficulty only makes enemies stronger, so there's no farming reason to play above your comfort level.

What happens if I die during a raid?

In a solo raid there's no penalty — you keep the loot and XP you collected before going down. That's why experimenting with builds is basically free.

Is this an official Nintendo site?

No. This is an independent fan guide.
