The story finale — the Salmonarch
The Salmonarch is fought in the Throne Room dungeon inside the Great Salmon Mess Hall. Winning it rolls the game's credits, and it's the first requirement for the endgame. It's a big, telegraphed damage sponge rather than a precise dance — learn the punish windows in the boss guide before you go in.
The true final boss — Lord Saltimatum
Lord Saltimatum waits at the bottom of the first 100 floors of the Bottomless Buffet. It's a long, three-phase fight against a heavy damage sponge. Keep an ink path ready to escape its hits, don't hesitate to spam your Showstopper, and ignore the extra Salmonids so you can focus fire the boss.
| Phase | What it does | How to handle it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Summons three tornadoes, charges a beam, fires three fast projectiles | Swim between the tornadoes, move toward the beam to dodge it, then close in and chip. Clear Salmonids for Power Eggs and trigger a Drill Attack for big damage |
| 2 | Same attacks but stronger — four tornadoes and extra projectiles | Keep dodging and attacking, then repeat the Drill Attack cycle |
| 3 | Adds a huge dome attack covering most of the arena, plus another projectile | When it pauses face-down to start the dome, swim to the very edge to slip past the rim, then keep chipping |
How to unlock the Bottomless Buffet
- Beat the Salmonarch in the Throne Room — this rolls the credits.
- Three Hidden Ruins dungeons appear after the credits, each holding relic treasures.
- Clear each Hidden Ruins with all three tank types (Speed, Power, Tactical) — that's nine relics total.
- Once you hold all nine, the Bottomless Buffet opens at the hole in the middle of the map where the Salmonarch was fought.
Best build for the fight
Freeze builds are the strongest response. A single-hit weapon (4K Chargers work well) paired with Freeze powers like Blast Boot or Meteor Mitt at 100% freeze chance can lock down whole waves before they overwhelm you. Bring four- and five-star gadget parts for the best boosts, upgrade your weapon before diving, and remember a Primo weapon can be pushed well past its original level. For deeper loadout theory, see the best build guide and the relic page.
How deep does it go?
There is no bottom. After floor 100 the dungeon keeps generating floors indefinitely, with enemies scaling up on every level. Each build you clear is recorded, so the descent doubles as a way to measure how far a given loadout holds up. Because there's no confirmed limit, the deepest runs are community records — one report puts the deepest reached floor at 259.
