Awlmun Den is a Salmonid Den, but it plays differently from the wave-clearing raids. The objective isn't to survive waves — it's a platforming run that ends with splatting a Stinger at the top of the level. Spicier difficulties add more Stingers that ink up your path, so it gets genuinely tricky.

The normal clear
If you're just trying to finish it, the intended route is a straight platforming climb. Reach the top, splat the Stinger, done. Start on Spicy while you're learning the jump sequence, then move to Super Spicy once the route and the final encounter are consistent.
The containers along the way give you extra value per run, but they force detours. A simple rule:
- Skip optional loot when you only need the main completion reward or want the fastest possible farming cycle.
- Grab it when you need weapons to dismantle, are short on upgrade materials, or the crate sits close to the fast route.
The speedrun route (around 9 seconds)
The community figured out you can bypass almost the entire level. The reliable skip uses a movement-focused gadget loadout:
- Jump Bomb — launches you across gaps.
- Dash Bomb — covers long stretches instantly.
- Mods that cut cooldowns and raise use count — this is what makes the skip consistent rather than a one-off lucky run.
What it drops (and why farm it)
Awlmun Den is a strong repeatable source of:
- Spirhalite Shards — the core upgrade currency.
- Gadget Parts — for building and upgrading your gadgets.
- Weapons — including the chance at higher-rarity drops on Spicy and above.
Drop quality scales with heat, so Spicy or higher pays meaningfully better than Tourist or Raider. If your only goal is the fastest farming cycle, skip the optional containers; if you need materials, grab the ones near the route.

Learn the route on Spicy, then push to Super Spicy for the better rewards. On Super Spicy the added Stingers make the platforming tighter, but the payoff per run is worth it once you're consistent.
